Wishcasting Wednesday ~ Completion

What do you want to complete, Jamie asks this week...

I've a list a mile long in my head of all the things that need to get done for life to run smoother, but if I ask my heart instead...it's to complete my Holistic Health Practitioner certification.

Just the other week, I finally took all my books, remedies, oils and incomplete case studies and packed them up in a box. We needed the room in the filing cabinet (I told myself), but what came next really made me realize that I wasn't ready to finally accept that I hadn't completed my certification. I looked at that sealed box and it glared back: one more thing that you've not fully stepped up to the plate to see through. I buried myself under my bed covers, asked my husband through sobs to hide the box in the basement and I fell into darkness.

*sigh*

You see, three quarters the way through my school year, I became pregnant and as my tummy grew larger, as my energy shifted into helping my wee one blossom to life, I used that to mask my fear of now having to go out and offer my healing abilities to my community.

Six...SIX!...years later, I was still holding onto the hope that I could call the school up, let them know I wanted to complete the course and finish my practicum case studies. There's so many fears that come up when I think about making that call...the what-ifs...

...and then two weeks ago I bump into a fellow classmate I haven't seen in three years, and she's thinking about calling up the school too because she never finished either. Except she's doing it with less fear of their possible rejection and more determination to find out one way or the other.

So today... *deep breath* I'm going to find out if I can complete my certification. I don't know what they'll say...I don't know if I can even fit it into my schedule...but damn it, I've got to find out!

Take the step; you can do it! Recently, I expressed an interest in going back to school to get my certification as an art teacher. I haven't been in school for over 20 years. My husband even made some inquiries as to what is required in our state. I made the initial contact but have yet to follow through. Perhaps this is something to add to my list of completion. But...be gentle. I tend to beat the crap put of myself for things left undone.

As you wish for yourself, I lovingly wish for you.

Oh don't hesitate - jump in! You may be quite surprised by what you find. Knowing "what the what" is will also make you feel lighter.

All the best

Yah, how wonderful that you can share this with us today. Go for it. It sounds like there's not much to finish off either and then... well then... the world is your oyster. Have faith. Believe in yourself. Imagine yourself that healing person bringing happiness to others and hold onto that thought.

The Universe is Perfect and On Time!

You've matured and changed and done things in the past six years that will make you a much better practitioner now! Be grateful for your pause and now that your child is becoming more independent, it is the perfect time for you to get back into your studies. Oh please let me know if you continue. Where did you begin your program?

As The Wild Roaming one boldly wishes for herself, so I wish for her as well!

I started HHP training, but discovered the the school I was at was not a good place for me and that I wasn't ready anyway, so I dropped out fairly quickly. It keeps coming back to me, so I have to get it together enough to find a school that I can work with. I know that you have so many gifts to offer and when the time is right you will be able to share those gifts with the world.

I would ask you this however - what is the important part about completing this? The completion itself? The certification? What you may do with the knowledge as soon as you 'own' it? Just to think about - sometimes it is okay just to take a course for your own personal information and personal growth. It can be part of the weeding out process to discover what you truly want to do.

As WRO wishes for herself, so do I wish for her as well - whatever it may be!

I can believe that's difficult, but just try it, it's worth it!
Thanks for your comment.
About your question: Regression, yes, I am working on that since years. (Healing is a slow process) ;)
Take care!

Oh Wild Roaming One, you just reminded of something I need to complete - a writing course I started three years ago but haven't finished yet. It's been on the back of my mind for a week or so. I'll call my school if you'll call yours. The world needs your gift, so go ahead and call.

As Wild Roaming One wishes for her wild self, so I sincerely wish for her as well.

Wishing you nothing but goodness.

May you finish your Holistic Health Practitioner certification. I also let a class i was taken go by the wayside, it was in Holistic Nutrition, I think your post has me thinking I could finish mine also. Wishing you much success.

WRO,
Thank you for stopping by my blog. Your blog is heartfelt and transparent. And I so resonated with your post. I found it quite ironic that I find myself in a similar state of mind: dealing with 3 major dramas with people I love, all are in suffering. I have been "practicing" (and praying) consistently that I stay calm, clear and wise in the midst of the difficulty. I puddle too, in fact my husband said exactly the same thing to me yesterday. "I really need you to take good care of yourself on this one." Meaning, connect with my truest self, raise my vibration (loved that YOU used that term, one of my faves) and do the good work of equanimity. So I am...

May you do similarly today and may you be successful. Blessings all around you...
